Elderly Grandmother Brutally Assaulted in Fresno, Family Seeks Justice and Police Investigation

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA – A 63-year-old grandmother in Fresno is currently under 24-hour medical care after a vicious attack in a road rage incident, with the family now seeking justice for the heinous assault.

The Fresno Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident, treating it as a felony assault. Despite efforts, no arrests have been made yet, leaving the family anxious for accountability.

The victim’s family, out of fear of potential retaliation, has requested to keep the grandmother’s identity private. According to the family, the attack involved multiple suspects, inflicting severe injuries that led to the elderly woman being hospitalized for a week.

The son-in-law of the victim, Brian Rodriguez, described the incident as a brutal assault. Witnesses at the scene recounted a disturbing scene where the grandmother was reportedly attacked by individuals on both sides of her vehicle.

Following the attack near Granite Park in Fresno on March 30th, the victim was found with extensive bruising and a swollen face. Rodriguez expressed concerns about the extent of her injuries, sharing that she is experiencing memory loss and seizures due to brain swelling.

As detectives work on the case to uncover more details about the attack, the family is urging anyone with information or footage to come forward and assist the Fresno Police Department in their investigation.
