**Crashes**: Commercial Vehicle Slams into Texas DPS Building, Leaving Multiple Injured

Austin, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded in Brenham, Texas, when a stolen 18-wheeler crashed into a Texas Department of Public Safety office, resulting in multiple serious injuries and one fatality. The Texas Rangers are currently investigating the crash, which occurred after law enforcement pursued the stolen vehicle into the building.

The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Clenard Parker, had been denied a renewal for his commercial driver’s license at the Brenham office the day before the incident. Parker was apprehended at the scene and taken into custody. He is facing charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest.

Fourteen individuals were involved in the incident, with six individuals being transported to the hospital for treatment and eight others being treated and released at the scene. The building, situated at 975 U.S. Highway 290 in Brenham, is located approximately an hour northwest of Houston and two hours east of Austin.

According to Texas Senator Lois Kolkhorst, three individuals were airlifted with critical injuries, while three others were taken to local hospitals in stable condition. Law enforcement officials have indicated that the crash appears to be an intentional and criminal act.
