Crash Involving Semi-Truck in Laughlin Leaves Three Dead

Las Vegas, Nevada – A tragic crash on State Route 163 in Laughlin has resulted in the deaths of three individuals. The incident, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, involved a collision between a motorcycle and a semi-truck near mile marker 11. Nevada State Police have confirmed the fatalities but have not released information on the third victim at this time.

On Monday, the Clark County Coroner identified two of the deceased individuals from the crash. The first victim was Owen Hart, a 22-year-old man from Saint George, Utah, whose cause of death was attributed to multiple blunt-force trauma. The coroner ruled his death as accidental. The second victim was identified as Jeremy Gebo, a 44-year-old male, but the coroner was unable to locate his address. Like Hart, Gebo succumbed to multiple blunt-force trauma, with his death also determined as accidental.

In a recent update, authorities revealed that Claude Rafiki, the suspect in the crash, has been taken into custody. Rafiki faces charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving. A court appearance in Moapa Valley is scheduled for March 26.
