Colorado Mother Arrested in UK for Alleged Connection to Killing of Two Children

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A Colorado mother, Kimberlee Singler, has been arrested in the United Kingdom in connection with the deaths of two of her three children, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

On December 19, police responded to a burglary call at Singler’s home and found her 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son dead, as well as her 11-year-old daughter wounded. Singler was initially considered a witness and victim, but later disappeared during the investigation.

Police did not provide details of the overseas arrest, but Singler is accused of killing her two children and wounding the third. She now faces multiple first-degree murder charges, as well as charges of child abuse, attempted first-degree murder, and assault, police said in a statement.

The burglary report turned out to be unfounded, and Singler had initially cooperated with police. However, police obtained an arrest warrant on Tuesday, but were unable to immediately arrest Singler.

Singler’s surviving daughter and her injuries have not been described by the police. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released as the case progresses.

The tragic incident has left the community in shock, and authorities are working diligently to piece together the events that led to the deaths of the two children. The motive behind Singler’s alleged actions remains unclear, and the public is urged to come forward with any information that could help the investigation.

The Colorado Springs Police Department expressed their gratitude to the public for their support and cooperation as they work to seek justice for the victims and their family.
