Charges Looming in Matthew Perry’s Death Investigation: Multiple People on the Radar, Reports Say

Los Angeles, CA – Authorities are nearing the end of their investigation into the passing of actor Matthew Perry. According to recent reports, multiple individuals may be linked to his death. The authorities are considering pressing charges against those involved in supplying Perry with ketamine before his untimely demise.

Law enforcement sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to discuss the investigation, revealed to various media outlets that a federal probe is underway to identify the individuals responsible for providing the “Friends” actor with ketamine. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on whether to pursue charges in the case.

Following Perry’s death at his Pacific Palisades home on October 28, 2023, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner confirmed that he died from “acute effects of ketamine.” It was later revealed that there were trace amounts of ketamine in his stomach contents, suggesting the substance was consumed prior to his passing.

An autopsy report also highlighted that Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety. However, the ketamine discovered in his system at the time of his death could not have been from the recent therapy session, as the substance has a short half-life.

In addition to ketamine, contributing factors to Perry’s death included drowning, coronary artery disease, and effects of buprenorphine. His death was deemed accidental, with no signs of foul play suspected.

Throughout his life, Perry battled drug and alcohol addiction, which inspired his loved ones to establish the Matthew Perry Foundation posthumously. The foundation aims to support individuals struggling with addiction, honoring Perry’s dedication to helping others in similar situations.

Ultimately, the case of Matthew Perry’s death continues to unfold as authorities delve into the details surrounding his passing. The investigation serves as a reminder of the complexities and challenges associated with substance abuse and its impact on individuals and their loved ones.
