Calvary Softball’s Offensive Explosion Propels Perfect Game Victory

SHREVEPORT, La. – Calvary Baptist Academy’s softball team showcased a dominating performance against Beekman Charter, securing a 12-0 victory in five innings at Lady Cavs Park. The game started with a remarkable 10-run first inning, setting the tone for their success. Pitcher Kynzee Anderson delivered an exceptional performance on the mound, pitching her second perfect game of the season. Anderson’s stellar performance included not allowing a single baserunner and striking out five hitters during her five scoreless innings.

Following the game, Anderson expressed her realization of pitching a perfect game, highlighting her precise execution and skill on the mound. Calvary’s head coach Tiffany Wood commended Anderson for her impeccable performance, emphasizing her ability to execute pitches effectively. Teammate Loren Sivils praised Anderson’s talent, describing her as one of the best pitchers she knows.

Carley Guile contributed to Calvary’s offensive explosion with an RBI double in the first inning, followed by a two-run homer later in the game. Sivils added to the team’s lead with a three-run homer in deep centerfield, showcasing the Lady Cavaliers’ offensive prowess.

With a record of 30-1, Calvary will look to secure a spot in the state tournament with a upcoming game against Patrick Taylor on Friday at 5 p.m. at Lady Cavs Park.
