COWLITZ CO., Wash. – Authorities in Cowlitz County are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man involved in a series of home invasions and a violent assault on a homeowner. The suspect is wanted on charges of first-degree kidnapping, burglary, and car theft.

The incident occurred in the West Beacon Hill neighborhood near Longview when the suspect broke into a residence and confronted the homeowner, leading to a violent altercation. Subsequently, the suspect stole the victim’s car and fled the scene. Though details about the victim’s injuries were not provided, law enforcement found the stolen vehicle abandoned on Columbia Heights Road, with a police dog tracing the suspect’s path to a specific location.
