Burger King Murder Mystery: Revenge Killing Linked to Haryana Gang Rivalry

New Delhi: A recent shocking murder at a Burger King outlet in west Delhi has left authorities investigating possible links to a 2020 revenge killing in Haryana. Reports suggest that the 26-year-old victim, Aman Joon, was targeted in a suspected gang rivalry, raising concerns about public safety in the capital.

The police have revealed that Aman Joon was fatally shot with 38 bullets from three different firearms inside the fast-food establishment on Tuesday night. Evidence indicates that multiple individuals were involved in the attack, as Aman’s body was discovered behind the billing counter, suggesting an attempt to escape during the assault. Witnesses report that the assailants were men in their mid-twenties to early thirties.

According to staff members, Aman had arrived at the Burger King outlet to meet a mysterious woman, who promptly left the scene after the shooting, possibly taking the victim’s phone with her. Investigators have identified the woman as someone with a criminal record in Haryana, who had relocated to Delhi for exam preparations. Surveillance footage shows her travel from GTB Nagar Metro Station to Rajouri Garden and then on to Shakurpur Metro Station after the incident.

A fugitive gangster named Himanshu Bhau, believed to be residing in Portugal, has claimed responsibility for Aman’s murder in a social media post. Authorities suspect a connection to the 2020 killing of Shakti Singh in Jhajjar, allegedly prompted by information provided by Aman to rival gangsters. Himanshu Bhau’s post referenced seeking revenge for the previous incident, warning others involved that they too would face consequences.

The authenticity of the social media post is currently under investigation by law enforcement. The case highlights the complex web of gang rivalries and criminal activities that continue to pose challenges for authorities in maintaining law and order in the region. As inquiries progress, authorities are working to apprehend those responsible and prevent further acts of violence in the community.
