The man, identified as Willhite, originally offered a $20,000 reward for information but has now raised the reward to $40,000 due to the lack of progress in the investigation.
Willhite expressed his frustration with the slow pace of the investigation, stating that all potential leads have gone cold and that he has not received any promising information. He also mentioned feeling overlooked by the county’s response to the case.
In an emotional interview, Willhite expressed his deep connection with his donkeys, referring to them as his friends and vowing to fight for them. He also shared his disappointment in the lack of communication from the Creek County District Attorney’s office, stating that the office had not been in touch with him since November 7th.
Despite not being wealthy, Willhite decided to double the reward in an effort to keep the memory of his beloved donkeys, Pete and Patsy, alive. He also thanked the media for their efforts in keeping the search for answers alive.
The Creek County Sheriff and District Attorney’s offices were reached out to for comment, but did not respond. Willhite and his family can be contacted if anyone has information that could help solve the case.
