Stephen McAulay, 35, admitted guilt in a court hearing after the assault on May 13, 2024, which resulted in significant and lasting damage to the victim, including severe partial blindness.

Following a series of confrontational text messages, McAulay armed himself with a knife and proceeded to his victim’s residence.
