Boston, Massachusetts – A violent altercation outside Fenway Park has led to the arrest of a South Shore man, charged with causing serious injuries to another individual. Brandon Wilson, 27, was taken into custody by the Boston Police Department’s fugitive unit on Tuesday, precisely one month after the incident, which occurred on September 28.
The victim, identified as Jack Farrell, was discovered unconscious in a crosswalk on Lansdowne Street, close to Loretta’s Last Call, following a Red Sox game. Emergency responders found him in critical condition after he suffered a brain bleed, along with multiple facial fractures and the need for significant medical intervention.
Farrell’s mother, Mona Saltalamacchia, reported that her son spent more than a week in the intensive care unit. Following surgery that included the removal of part of his skull, he was later transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital for continued recovery.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows Wilson leaving the scene shortly after the attack, raising concerns and frustrations among the victim’s family and the public. Saltalamacchia expressed her discontent over the suspect’s apparent indifference, stating, “He casually walks away as if he did nothing. I would have more respect for a person if they had stopped and stayed there. You don’t leave a person lying there like that.”
