Assault in Largs: Dog Walker Injured and Phone Stolen by Two Teenagers in Brazen Attack

Largs, Scotland — A man sustained injuries during a robbery on Monday afternoon while walking his dog along Nelson Street. The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 PM when the victim was approached by two assailants, prompting local authorities to issue a call for witnesses.

According to police reports, the unidentified attackers, believed to be in their late teens or early twenties, assaulted the man and made off with his mobile phone, retreating towards Moorburn Road after the incident. The victim was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.

Witnesses described the suspects as white males, one standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall and the other about 5 feet 10 inches, both of whom were dressed in dark clothing at the time of the robbery. The authorities managed to recover the stolen phone later in the evening.

Detective Constable Fraser Barr emphasized the severity of the assault, stating it left the victim emotionally shaken in addition to his physical injuries.
