LYNN, Mass. — A local man faces multiple charges following a violent incident at a convenience store on Halloween night that left a clerk severely injured. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Joshua Mora on Friday, charging him with armed robbery, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, and armed assault with the intent to intimidate.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when Mora allegedly entered the Richdale Convenience store and engaged in a physical altercation with the clerk before fleeing the scene with stolen items. Surveillance footage reportedly captures the attack, showing Mora jumping over the counter to assault the victim.
The convenience store owner revealed that the clerk sustained serious injuries, including a broken leg, nose, and jaw, due to the brutal nature of the attack. These details underscore the severity of the confrontation and its subsequent impact on the victim.
Law enforcement began investigating the incident shortly after it occurred and identified Mora as a suspect.
