Amber Alert: New Mexico Police Search for Abducted 10-Month-Old Baby After Double Homicide

Clovis, New Mexico – Police in New Mexico are actively searching for a 10-month-old baby girl who they believe was taken by the individual responsible for the murder of her mother and another woman. In addition to the two fatalities, the young child’s 5-year-old sister was also injured in the tragic incident which took place at Ned Houk Park in Clovis.

Following the distressing discoveries made at the park on a Friday afternoon, an urgent Amber Alert was issued for Eleia Maria Torres. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to find Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen fatally shot, the child covered in blood, and various baby supplies abandoned along with an empty stroller. The presence of these items led investigators to suspect that Eleia, the infant daughter of Cisneros, had been forcibly taken from the scene.

Despite not yet identifying any suspects in the case, authorities have reason to believe that the perpetrator may have fled in a maroon Honda following the gruesome crime. Additionally, law enforcement officers discovered five puppies inside the victims’ vehicle, adding another layer of mystery to the unfolding tragedy.

Deputy Police Chief Trevor Thron of Clovis revealed that the victims had plans to sell puppies at Walmart based on information provided by their family members. However, it remains unclear whether the women had made it to the store before heading to Ned Houk Park, leaving investigators puzzled about the events leading up to the fatal incident. The community is on high alert as the search for baby Eleia intensifies, with hopes of reuniting her with her family and bringing the perpetrator to justice.
