Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh – A tragic incident unfolded at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, as a high-speed dumper crashed into multiple vehicles, resulting in one fatality and at least five injuries. The impact of the collision was severe, causing chaos and devastation at the scene.
Upon learning of the incident, emergency Medical Officer Dr. Manish Shakya at Shri Ram Hospital in Ayodhya confirmed the death of one individual, with five others sustaining major injuries. The injured were promptly transferred to Raja Dashrath Medical College for further medical attention.
Eyewitness Raja Babu recounted the harrowing experience at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, describing how the high-speed dumper collided with his vehicle, leading to multiple casualties. Babu managed to escape harm by jumping out of his vehicle, but tragically, others were not as fortunate.
In a separate yet equally tragic incident, four men lost their lives in a bike-car crash near Pararampur village in Ayodhya. The fatal accident occurred when their motorcycles collided head-on with a speeding SUV, resulting in a devastating outcome.
Following the collision, the SUV driver attempted to flee the scene, further exacerbating the tragedy by causing the motorcycles to catch fire, leading to the untimely deaths of all four motorcyclists. Villagers, outraged by the incident, took matters into their own hands by setting the SUV ablaze, ultimately leading to the arrest of the driver, Bhaskar Upadhyay.
The deceased individuals were identified as Ram Kewal, Indrajeet, Ram Sajivan, and Jethu, with their bodies undergoing postmortem examinations to determine the cause of death. The Deputy SP Piyush Pal provided details of the incident, shedding light on the sequence of events that led to the heartbreaking loss of life in Ayodhya.
