KEY LARGO, FL – The serene atmosphere of Key Largo was disrupted when a tragic discovery was made at the Omare Dive Resort. Guests checking into what they thought would be a peaceful escape were instead confronted with the aftermath of a horrific crime: a woman’s body hidden in their room’s closet.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into the death of 43-year-old Naen Tilman, who was found brutally murdered. The suspect, Dylan Lamb, a 33-year-old local tour guide, was quickly identified. Lamb reportedly met Tilman through an escort service and arranged to meet her at the resort.
According to Lamb’s confession, an argument over payment led to a physical altercation. Lamb admitted to striking Tilman, causing her to suffer a fatal head injury. Instead of seeking assistance, he hid her body in the room’s air conditioning closet and attempted to clean the scene with towels and linens.
Shockingly, resort staff discovered the blood-stained items but failed to report the incident to authorities, discarding the evidence in a dumpster. The room was rented out to new guests, oblivious to the hidden tragedy behind the closet door.
Concerned by Tilman’s sudden disappearance, her family and friends alerted the police. Deputies discovered Tilman’s car at the resort and, upon investigation, found her body in the closet, showing signs of blunt force trauma.
Lamb was apprehended at his workplace, located just a short distance from the resort. In his possession was Tilman’s wallet, further implicating him in the crime. Lamb now faces serious charges, including homicide and evidence tampering, as the community grapples with the shocking events that unfolded in their midst.
