BLOOMFIELD, NJ – A Bloomfield woman has been left deeply unsettled after three men unexpectedly entered her apartment, prompting her to pack up and move.
Rebecca Thermador, 21, was startled awake by noises and found three men inside her home. Initially fearing a home invasion, she quickly learned they were workers from her building conducting an inspection.
Despite their apologies and explanation that they thought the apartment was empty, Rebecca was disturbed by their entry since her door was securely locked.
The building management claimed to have sent an email notifying residents of the inspection, but Rebecca insists she never received it. The incident occurred while her family was present, leaving her feeling vulnerable and unsafe.
