Woman Finds Three Inspectors in Her Apartment After Shower

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – A Bloomfield woman has been left deeply unsettled after three men unexpectedly entered her apartment, prompting her to pack up and move.

Rebecca Thermador, 21, was startled awake by noises and found three men inside her home. Initially fearing a home invasion, she quickly learned they were workers from her building conducting an inspection.

Despite their apologies and explanation that they thought the apartment was empty, Rebecca was disturbed by their entry since her door was securely locked.

The building management claimed to have sent an email notifying residents of the inspection, but Rebecca insists she never received it. The incident occurred while her family was present, leaving her feeling vulnerable and unsafe.

Rebecca has initiated plans to move, seeking a new residence where she can feel secure. This incident highlights the importance of effective communication between tenants and property management.

Efforts to reach the building’s management for comment were unsuccessful. As Rebecca prepares to leave, the situation underscores the need for clear protocols and respect for tenant privacy.

This experience serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining tenant rights and ensuring proper notification procedures are in place.
