GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Police in Gainesville are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred early Saturday morning, involving the death of a married couple. Authorities were alerted to a domestic disturbance in the Northwood Pines Neighborhood just after 5:30 a.m. by a concerned family member.
According to reports, the family member informed the police that an argument had taken place between the victim and the suspect, who were identified as the married couple. The situation escalated when the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a gun, leading the family member to intervene over the phone. Tragically, gunshots were heard shortly after.
