On Saturday, the Keene Memorial Library became a gathering place for residents to share their memories and stories about the explosion. The blast not only leveled the hotel but also damaged six nearby buildings, trapping numerous people beneath the debris. In the aftermath, former firefighter William Johnson recalled the painstaking recovery efforts. “We had to sift through the rubble piece by piece until we found signs of victims,” he said.
