SAN DIEGO, California – Authorities have released the identity of the 43-year-old man who was fatally shot in an East Village neighborhood over the weekend. The victim, Ali Jabbar, was walking with a group on 16th Street near Market Street around 3:05 p.m. on Sunday when he was targeted and shot by an unknown suspect, according to San Diego police Lt. Jud Campbell.
