On Tuesday, Kevin McCarthy, the senior Republican of the U.S. House of Representatives, called on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to step down. McCarthy threatened that the House could impeach him when Republicans take the majority next year.

Chicago Mayor Still Busing Migrants from Texas
Texas migrants dropped off at Union Station in Chicago’s city center were taken by bus to another suburb. This time the location they were then taken to the suburb of Elk Grove Village. This marks the 2nd bus load of migrants that have now been relocated from Chicago.
