Mississauga, Canada — Authorities are intensifying their search for two men connected to a violent incident involving a sex worker that took place nearly a month ago. The Peel Regional Police have released surveillance images of the suspects and their vehicle in hopes of gathering information from the public.
On November 22, investigators reported that the victim had arranged to meet a client at a hotel in Mississauga. Unbeknownst to her, two men arrived and forcibly entered her room, where they allegedly assaulted her both physically and sexually before stealing her belongings. The assailants reportedly attempted to restrain the victim, but she managed to resist, causing them to flee on foot. Remarkably, she did not sustain any long-term physical injuries, according to police statements.
The police have procured video footage which shows the suspects as well as the vehicle they used during the incident. The first suspect is described as a Black male, aged between 20 and 35 years old, standing about 5-foot-7 with a heavy build and a dark complexion. He was noted to have a buzz cut and possibly a beard, and was seen wearing a gold cross necklace, a white baseball cap, and glasses.
The second individual, who may be Hispanic, is estimated to be around 22 years old, approximately five feet tall with a thin build. He is reported to have a skin condition on his face that resembles dry skin or eczema.
The getaway vehicle is identified as a silver Mazda 3 hatchback, model years 2004 to 2009, which shows noticeable damage to the rear driver’s side quarter panel and bumper.
Police are encouraging anyone with relevant information related to the case to contact the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, extension 3460, or to reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
