Emergency responders rushed three individuals to local hospitals, where one was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The conditions of the other two victims remain unclear as authorities continue their investigation.
SMPD is actively pursuing two suspects described as Black males. Witnesses reported seeing them fleeing the scene in a silver or grey Audi A3. Police have released detailed descriptions of the suspects, with the first described as wearing a black hoodie accented with white lettering, paired with dark pants and shoes. The second suspect is identified as wearing a two-tone jacket featuring a black upper section and a lighter grey lower part, along with dark pants and a beanie.
In the wake of the shooting, police instructed all bars in the vicinity to close and urged anyone in the area to steer clear for safety reasons. The decision was made to aid in the ongoing investigation and to ensure public safety.
