Shooter Sought as Miami Gardens Detectives Investigate Fatal Road Rage Incident

Miami, Florida — Authorities are investigating a fatal road rage incident that claimed the life of a 25-year-old man in Miami-Dade County on Sunday evening. The shooting, which occurred along the Florida Turnpike, has left the community in shock as detectives work tirelessly to identify the suspect involved.

The victim has been identified as Kendrick Lesesne, who was driving a silver Hyundai when the confrontation escalated. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Northwest 199 Street, where they found Lesesne suffering from injuries consistent with a shooting.

Witnesses indicated that an off-duty sergeant from the Biscayne Park Police Department observed Lesesne driving erratically prior to the incident. According to his account, Lesesne’s vehicle collided with a black Cadillac, a critical moment that may have instigated the subsequent gunfire. Following the crash, the sergeant spoke to a passenger traveling with Lesesne, who survived the ordeal but was forced to witness the tragic events unfold.
