The tragic incident occurred when 14-year-old Scarlett Vickers bled to death at her home in July after sustaining a deep stab wound to her chest.
Simon Vickers, Scarlett’s father, alleged that the fatal injury was caused while they were playfully “mucking about.” However, a pathologist testified in court that it was highly unlikely for the wound to have been inflicted in the manner Vickers described.
