REDLANDS, Calif. — A tragic incident unfolded in a Redlands apartment when a man reportedly shot his half-brother and then attempted to jeopardize the lives of the victim’s two children by leaving gas burners on in the family’s kitchen.
Authorities responded to a gunfire alert early Tuesday morning and discovered 36-year-old Aaron Richard Rivera fatally wounded inside his home. Initial evidence indicated he had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
