Surveillance footage from Vega’s apartment complex captured her last moments alive before she was seen walking to her car, which was later found abandoned near Culinary Dropout in Tempe. The discovery of the burned Chevrolet Malibu, which contained Vega’s body along with incriminating items like bleach, lighter fluid, and latex gloves, shed light on the heinous crime.
