PATTAYA, Thailand – A recent violent altercation involving motorcycle taxi drivers in Pattaya has left one individual severely injured. The incident began with a minor collision between a taxi driver and a civilian’s vehicle. Despite no charges being pressed, the situation escalated when another motorcycle taxi driver confronted the driver, sparking a verbal confrontation that eventually turned physical.
The victim, identified as Rewat Saechua, 37, sustained multiple stab wounds during the altercation. He was taken to Pattaya City Hospital for treatment, where he received 6 stitches on his left arm and 15 stitches on his left cheek. The attack was reported to the Pattaya Police Station, leading to an investigation that resulted in the identification of two suspects, 17-year-old “Naw” and 20-year-old “Supachok.”
Naw confessed to using a knife during the attack, which stemmed from the initial collision incident.
