Mangaluru, India – In a shocking incident in Ammermar, Pudu village, two young men, Tasleem and Muhammad Shakeer, were viciously attacked by a group armed with dangerous weapons. The victims are currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Mangaluru.
The altercation reportedly started when Tasleem received a disturbing phone call while in the company of Muhammad Shakeer, Nasir, Siyab, and Saifuddin. The caller issued a challenge to Tasleem, prompting them to meet at a crossroads near Ammermar school. Upon their arrival, they were met by a group led by Mansoor, accompanied by locals such as Pulti Imran, Mustaq alias Mitcha, Sarpuddin, and others, who launched a brutal assault.
Witnesses shared accounts of the attack, detailing how Tasleem’s leg was struck with a sword by Pulti Imran, his hand slashed by Mustaq, hit with a stone by Sarpuddin, and his face severely injured by Mansoor. Muhammad Shakeer also fell victim to the violence, sustaining wounds from a sword and being struck with wooden sticks by Ashraf, Rizwan, and Latif.
Following the incident, both victims were swiftly taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention. A case has been filed at the Bantwal rural police station, prompting authorities to initiate an investigation aimed at capturing the perpetrators.
