Makeup Artist Survives Vicious Stabbing Attack: Hollywood FX Artist Recovers After Horrifying Incident

Los Angeles, California – A Hollywood makeup artist and special effects producer, known for her work on major films such as “Rebel Moon,” “Mean Girls,” and “Babylon,” is making a slow but steady recovery after being brutally stabbed more than 20 times in a recent attack.

Friends of 35-year-old Allie Shehorn have reported that she has undergone three surgeries in the last few days and remains in good spirits, pushing through the traumatic ordeal. The attack occurred on May 23rd, when Shehorn’s ex-boyfriend, against whom she had recently filed a restraining order, allegedly broke into her home in Shadow Hills, stabbed her multiple times, and then fled the scene.

Christine White, described as Shehorn’s surrogate mother, expressed shock and disbelief at the violent incident, emphasizing that such horrors should never happen to anyone. White was present in Shehorn’s home on the night of the attack and found her in a devastating state.

Shehorn sustained severe injuries, including multiple slashes to her neck, arms, and abdomen during the assault. Despite the extent of her injuries, friends have shared that she has shown remarkable progress, being able to engage in conversations, eat, and even make light-hearted jokes.

The support system around Shehorn has praised her resilience, humor, and strength, noting that she is not only comforting them but also looking for ways to uplift others even in her darkest moments. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the alleged attacker fled the state following the assault, only to be apprehended in Texas shortly after.

Currently, Shehorn remains in the hospital’s intensive care unit, undergoing surgeries to address her injuries and start the healing process. To assist with the mounting medical expenses, a GoFundMe page has been set up by her loved ones, emphasizing the importance of community support during her recovery journey.
