Mount Dora, Florida – A travel influencer, Garrett Bruno, has been found deceased at an address in Mount Dora, Florida, months after being accused of causing the death of an elderly woman in a car crash.
The Orange County Medical Examiners confirmed Bruno’s death, stating that investigations into the circumstances are ongoing. Bruno, 33, was on bail following second-degree murder charges for the death of 83-year-old Esther Abouab in West Hollywood.
In October last year, Bruno allegedly ran a red light at high speed, crashing into a vehicle in which Abouab was a passenger. Unfortunately, Abouab suffered fatal injuries from the impact, while her husband survived but sustained severe injuries.
Prior to his death, Bruno had undergone a toxicology test following the crash but the results had not been released. Following the incident, Bruno faced multiple challenges, including breaking his jaw in a scooter accident shortly after being released from the hospital.
Despite the legal proceedings against him, Bruno continued to face adversity, including a second scooter accident in October and subsequent raids on his residence by law enforcement. He finally regained consciousness in late December and was transferred to a Los Angeles jail.
Bruno’s sudden passing has left many in shock, especially after the influencer made headlines in his community by publicly revealing his support for a controversial political movement. The circumstances surrounding his death continue to raise questions, leaving authorities and the public seeking answers.
Authorities have yet to provide further details on Bruno’s passing, leaving friends, followers, and the wider community mourning his untimely demise.
