Hurricane Beryl Leaves Path of Destruction, Claiming 8 Lives in Texas and Louisiana

Before reaching Texas, Beryl made landfall as a hurricane in Jamaica, Barbados, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, resulting in the deaths of at least 11 people. The toll included fatalities in Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Venezuela, and Jamaica.
