Cuba City, Wisconsin – Authorities in Cuba City, Wisconsin have determined that the explosion and fire incident that resulted in one fatality was an accident, with no indications of foul play found during the investigation. The tragic event unfolded on Wednesday night when emergency services responded to reports of a large explosion and fire at 423 East Webster Street just after 6 pm. As first responders arrived at the scene, they were able to rescue the 72-year-old victim, identified as Mike Parks, from the garage. Despite efforts to save him, Parks succumbed to his injuries after being airlifted to a hospital in Madison.
