Derry, New Hampshire – A tragic incident unfolded on Goodhue Road as a 76-year-old woman, Laura Percival, lost her life in a house explosion caused by a falling tree hitting propane tanks. Her 11-year-old granddaughter was also present during the explosion and sustained injuries, leading to her hospitalization in Boston.
The explosion occurred just before noon when Derry firefighters and police responded to reports of an explosion at 141 Goodhue Road. Upon arrival, they found the house engulfed in flames, with Percival still inside.
