TAMPA, Florida – Authorities have identified the man who tragically lost his life after being pushed off a dock following an altercation in Ruskin over the weekend. The victim, Melvin Montero Jimenez, 47, was found deceased in the water near Bahia Beach Boulevard on Saturday. Kamal Padlowski, 50, has since been charged with second-degree murder in connection to Jimenez’s death.
Reports indicate that the incident unfolded after Jimenez and Padlowski met at a grill and bar on Bahia Beach Boulevard. They engaged in conversation and shared a few drinks before Padlowski invited Jimenez onto his sailboat, named All that Jazz.
