Disappearance of Kalie Goodwin linked to Accused Murderer Quan Sergio Flowers

Houston, Texas – Quan Sergio Flowers, 39, has been charged with murder in connection to the death of 24-year-old Megan Rouse, whose body was found in Houston last month. Flowers, also known as “Country,” is being held in jail on a $450,000 bond following his arrest on May 31.

Rouse was discovered severely beaten and shot multiple times on a dirt road in the Almeda area near Highway 288. Investigators found shell casings near her body, along with her wallet. She was pronounced dead shortly after being found by a Houston police officer on May 3.

In a disturbing turn of events, it was revealed that Rouse was alive just before her death, as she had made a call to a friend where she sounded to be in the company of an unknown man. Investigators determined that the shooting occurred within an hour of that call.

Further evidence linking Flowers to Rouse’s murder was uncovered through surveillance video from the area. It showed a car on the remote road where Rouse was found, matching the timeline of the crime. Additionally, shell casings found at the scene were linked to previous aggravated assault incidents in the same area.

In another troubling development, Flowers is also being investigated as a person of interest in the disappearance of 29-year-old Kalie Goodwin. Goodwin was reported missing in late April, last seen at an apartment complex in Houston. Her mother received a call demanding money and heard her daughter being assaulted in the background. Goodwin’s case remains open as of June 3.

As the investigation into both cases continues, authorities are working diligently to bring justice to the victims and their families. Flowers remains in custody, awaiting trial for the charges against him as the community grapples with the tragedies that have unfolded.
