Larnaca, Cyprus – Authorities in Kiti, Cyprus, are currently investigating a violent altercation that took place on Thursday night involving a food delivery driver. The driver, a 28-year-old foreign national, was attacked by six individuals who stole his motorcycle and mobile phone on Grigori Afxentiou Street around 8:20 pm.
The delivery driver was forced to stop his motorbike due to roadworks blocking the road when he was approached by the group of unidentified young men. The assailants threw him to the ground, used violence against him, and then made off with his motorcycle and phone. Despite not sustaining visible injuries, the victim was taken to Larnaca General Hospital for precautionary measures before being discharged.
Afterward, authorities discovered the stolen motorcycle abandoned in an open field approximately 500 meters away from the scene of the attack.
