Glenwood, Canada — A 38-year-old man is facing multiple charges following a violent altercation at a remote cabin on New Year’s Day. The incident occurred early in the morning, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement and search and rescue teams.
The Gander Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) received a call around 3:40 a.m. reporting that several individuals had been assaulted during an incident on Salmon Pond Access Road. Witness accounts indicated that a group of suspects fled the scene on snowmobiles after allegedly threatening to set the cabin ablaze.
